Why Support Bynum School?
Bynum School needs your help to serve children and adults at its best. We encourage parents, grandparents, parents of alumni, board members, faculty, staff, and friends to help Bynum School by investing in our students through the Bynum School Annual Fund, a new campaign to promote individual giving at Bynum School.
Why Give Annually?
The Bynum School Annual Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition dollars, which cover about 30% of the annual budget, and the fundraising efforts through grant writing and hosting fundraising events. We do this to ensure that staff have competitive salaries, facilities are maintained and improved as necessary, and that students experience a wide array of learning opportunities. Gifts to the Annual Fund are generally unrestricted and support our students in ways that you can see. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation of parents.
Is Giving to the Annual Fund Unique to Bynum School?
No. Independent schools have always relied on the generosity of loyal supports to advance their schools.
What is the difference between the Annual Fund and school fundraisers?
By sponsoring a table, purchasing tickets, or bidding on auction items, you are contributing to key aspects of Bynum School curriculum such as arts and music, physical education, vocational programming, and various therapies that Bynum School offers as part of its holistic approach to learning. The Bynum School Annual Fund is designed to offset annual operating costs.
Bynum School is nurturing a community to students who are often overlooked, and we are providing opportunities for them to excel in their own way. This is all a part of Bynum School’s focus on abilities, not disabilities.
Please give to the Bynum School Annual Fund today. You can give online, or talk with the Director of Development, Tracy Bush, about how your gift can make all the difference today and in the future.
