Special Education Teacher
Responsibilities:

Prepare Individual Program Plans (IPP)

Assess, plan lessons based on individual program plans

Modify curriculum

Demonstrate working knowledge of disability categories
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
-
Teaching certificate in special education preferred
-
Valid Texas driver’s license
-
Experience in special education
-
Supervise teacher assistants
-
Collaborate with Therapists
-
Able to lift and have adequate mobility

Work cooperatively with all staff

Experience in special education or a related field

Ability to lift and/or position students

High school diploma or GED

Valid Texas driver’s license
Substitute Teacher/Teacher Assistant
