Community Partnerships

Bynum School collaborates with other nonprofits in the Permian Basin to offer additional opportunities, including camps, horseback riding, and tennis. We encourage community collaborations that create volunteer opportunities and enhance student learning. Through these collaborations, students gain valuable experiences that extend beyond the classroom, developing life skills and creating lasting memories.

We Are The World Camp

Bynum School, Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center (MCRC), and Spectrum of Solutions (formerly MARC) offer We Are The World (WATW), an adaptive day camp for children with disabilities and their siblings. With donor and volunteer support, WATW serves children for three weeks in the summer and two days during academic breaks at no cost to the registrant.

Starlight Therapeutic Riding Center

Starlight Therapeutic Riding Center provides weekly therapeutic horsemanship lessons for select students. Therapeutic Horsemanship combines mounted and unmounted activities intended for therapeutic outcomes, including improved balance and coordination, and increased self-confidence.

Bush Tennis Center

Bush Tennis Center provides weekly tennis lessons for students to promote sportsmanship, integrity, and instill self-confidence and hard work.
