The Nonprofit Management Center of the Permian Basin presented Bynum School,  Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center, and Spectrum of Solutions with the Beacon Award for Excellence in Collaboration. The NPMC recognized the organizations for their innovative partnership with We Are The World Camp to provide children with special needs and their siblings an inclusive camp opportunity.

Bush Tennis Center tournament raises $5K for Bynum School

Bush Tennis Center tournament earlier this month raised $5,000 for Bynum School, the Permian Basin’s only year-round school specializing in teaching individuals ages three to adult with special needs.

Bynum School welcomes back the largest group of students in school history

Bynum School has officially started its school year and staff members say that this is the largest group of students that the school has ever seen in its 38-year history.

Bynum School has largest headcount in history 

Bynum School in Midland had its largest headcount in the school’s history this year.

Student philanthropy organizations donate over $4,500 to the Bynum School

Students from Trinity, Legacy, and Greenwood high schools were a part of these philanthropy organizations.

We Are The World (WATW) Summer Camp

We Are The World (WATW), in collaboration with Bynum School, Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center (MCRC), and Spectrum of Solutions (formerly MARC), provides summer day camps for special needs children and their siblings.
