Director of Accounting and Finance

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance preferred;
CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred -
Proven experience in accounting or finance leadership, preferably in a nonprofit setting

Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights

Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to ethical financial stewardship

Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and work effectively with a Board of Directors

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Work, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Minimum of five years’ experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in adult or transition programming

Demonstrated expertise in 18+ programming, including vocational training, job coaching, and community-based instruction
-
Ability to design, implement, and continuously improve person-centered programs that promote independence and quality of life

Experience supervising and developing instructional and support staff

Special Education Teacher

Nonprofit experience preferred

Highly organized professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities and daily office operations

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Proven ability to maintain confidential records and sensitive information

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record-keeping systems

Experience coordinating vendors, facilities needs, and IT support

Skilled in supporting employee onboarding, attendance tracking, and general HR processes
