Bynum School’s Rise Up Academy is launching a brand new program called Cruising Cuppa Joe—a coffee business run by its students. Starting with a full menu of hot coffee, iced coffee, and frosted lemonade, they’re serving up more than drinks—they’re gaining real-world skills that build confidence, independence, and career readiness.

Bynum School is celebrating our 40th anniversary and announced a special giving opportunity, Give 4 the Future.

The 2022 debutante families have selected Bynum School as their philanthropy recipient.

Bynum School, the only year-round school for individuals with disabilities in the Permian Basin, hosted a Truck-or-Treat extravaganza with help from Midland’s fire and police departments on Halloween.

Since 2018, Chukkers for Children has raised more than $3.2 million for the Bynum School.

The Nonprofit Management Center of the Permian Basin presented Bynum School,  Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center, and Spectrum of Solutions with the Beacon Award for Excellence in Collaboration. The NPMC recognized the organizations for their innovative partnership with We Are The World Camp to provide children with special needs and their siblings an inclusive camp opportunity.

A Bush Tennis Center tournament earlier this month raised $5,000 for Bynum School, the Permian Basin’s only year-round school specializing in teaching individuals ages three to adult with special needs.

Bynum School has officially started its school year and staff members say that this is the largest group of students that the school has ever seen in its 38-year history.

Bynum School in Midland had its largest headcount in the school’s history this year.

Students from Trinity, Legacy, and Greenwood high schools were a part of these philanthropy organizations.

We Are The World (WATW), in collaboration with Bynum School, Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center (MCRC), and Spectrum of Solutions (formerly MARC), provides summer day camps for special needs children and their siblings.
